We are currently recruiting for a friendly and enthusiastic Steward to join our team in Emsworth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a hospitality environment, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting both bar and food service operations.

What you'll be doing

• Serving food and beverages to customers and guests
• Providing table service in a professional and friendly manner
• Undertaking bar duties, including serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
• Supporting functions and events across the site
• Carrying out basic cold food preparation as required
• Restocking goods and ensuring service areas remain fully supplied
• Operating tills and handling cash accurately
• Cleaning bar areas, public areas, and back of house spaces
• Reporting customer feedback, issues, hazards, or maintenance concerns to management
• Following food safety, licensing, and health and safety procedures at all times
• Supporting the wider team with additional duties as required

What we're looking for

• Previous bar or front of house experience is desirable but not essential
• Full training will be provided
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable but not essential
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Positive, friendly, and professional attitude
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Flexible approach to working hours, including functions and events
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy hospitality environment

Additional Requirements

• Must be over 18 years of age
• Must have lived in the UK for the past 3 years
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK
• Must be able to successfully pass security vetting
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DBS check
