We are currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated Cleaner to join our team at Queen Elizabeth Barracks, Strensall. What you'll be doing

• Carrying out daily cleaning duties across designated areas
• Cleaning offices, communal areas, washrooms, corridors, and welfare facilities
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing, and sanitising surfaces
• Emptying waste bins and ensuring correct disposal of waste
• Replenishing cleaning supplies and consumables as required
• Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or defects to the relevant manager
• Following cleaning schedules and completing relevant documentation
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the site

What we're looking for

• A positive and proactive attitude
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Reliable and punctual approach to work
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Willingness to undertake training where required
