Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Field Service Engineer to join our team . In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional on-site technical support and maintenance services to our valued customers throughout the region. As a Field Service Engineer, you will combine technical expertise with strong customer service skills to ensure optimal equipment performance and customer satisfaction.

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and systems at customer locations 
  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections to ensure equipment operates at peak performance
  • Respond promptly to service calls and emergency requests, prioritizing issues based on severity
  • Document all service activities, repairs, and customer interactions in detail using service management software
  • Provide clear technical explanations to customers and offer recommendations for equipment optimization
  • Collaborate with the technical support team to resolve complex issues and escalate problems when necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of parts inventory and submit timely reports on service completion
  • Travel efficiently within the assigned zone to meet scheduled appointments and service commitments
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures during all field service activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by providing feedback on equipment performance and customer needs
  • Taking responsibility for personal warehouse/stock.
  • Forwarding sales opportunities to Sales Representatives when instruments need to be replaced.
  • Attending all necessary Anton Paar service trainings for the relevant product lines.
  • Substituting for other Field Service Engineers within the country.

Qualifications

  • Graduate in Engineering or equivalent.
  • One to Three years’ experience in Hardware support or repair work.
  • One to Three years in customer facing role.
  • High technical and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Must maintain a current and valid driver’s license.
