About the role   

Based from our Gladstone depot, you'll operate a B-Double fuel tanker delivering fuel products across Central Queensland. This role operates on a rotating roster and suits someone who enjoys professional driving, working independently, and being part of a high-performing team.  

 

What you’ll be doing 

  • Operating a modern B-Double tanker safely and professionally 

  • Completing deliveries across Central Queensland 

  • Conducting pre-start inspections and vehicle checks 

  • Managing delivery documentation and compliance requirements 

  • Building positive relationships with customers 

  • Maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism 

  • Working closely with a supportive operations team to ensure reliable service delivery 

 

No fuel industry experience? That's okay. We're prepared to train the right driver who demonstrates the right attitude, commitment to safety, and desire to develop new skills. 

 

Qualifications and Experience 

Essential 

 

  • Current MC Licence 

  • Proven heavy vehicle driving experience 

  • Strong safety focus 

  • Good communication and customer service skills 

  • Professional attitude and strong work ethic 

  • Ability to work a rotating triple-shift roster 

  • Reliability and commitment to doing the job right 

 

Highly regarded, but Not Essential 

  • Fuel transport experience 

  • Tanker experience 

  • Dangerous Goods (DG) Licence 

  • Safe Loading Pass (SLP)
