Job Description

JOB PURPOSE / SUMMARY:

  • Within the Inter-Regional Flow team, the intercontinental flow launch coordinator ensures the readiness and launch of supply flows for:
  • New parts delivered to MEA plants from other regions (EE, CN, IAP) and from within MEA.
  • Lead the industrialisation of intercontinental supply flows, aligned with project milestones, to secure successful production launches.
  • Act as the main project contact for all intercontinental logistics flow topics.
  • Maintain the business reference framework and support pre-project studies to define operational requirements.
  • Conduct optimisation studies and identify productivity improvement opportunities.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders involved in flow launches, including BOM Managers, Purchasing, Packaging, Transport, Manufacturing and Engineering.
  • Secure the required inputs to deliver expected project outputs.
  • Maintain accurate project data by tracking changes to references, sourcing and related updates.
  • Coordinate service centre teams and prioritise their workload.
  • Notify project teams of schedule risks and record any required escalations.
  • Prepare an operational workload plan for each project and monitor its execution.
  • Map and review processes, then recommend improvements or task transfers to the service centre.
  • Review logistics cost breakdowns and identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Propose innovative solutions to improve supply chain performance or address crisis situations.
  • Keep project schedules on track while managing changes.
  • Provide solutions to recurring changes in scope or context to prevent extra costs.
  • Monitor and improve flow launch process performance.
  • Escalate key risks when required.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the flow launch process.
  • Lead complex optimisation initiatives.

Other:

  • Request new routes and rate proposals from Global Purchasing.
  • Work with Global and Regional teams on new transport, warehousing and packaging projects.

Qualifications

The role requires:

  • A structured and disciplined approach to work.
  • Broad knowledge of Logistics, Packaging, Transport, Manufacturing and Bill of Materials.
  • Read-only access to relevant applications.
  • The ability to analyse processes effectively.
  • The ability to use AI tools to support data analysis, process improvement and decision-making.
  • An understanding of responsible AI use, including data quality, confidentiality and human validation of outputs.
