Job Description
As a Modelling Systems Engineer, you will join our team to support our activities within the Aerospace sector.
You will be responsible for the design and development of complex hydromechanical systems, working across the full engineering lifecycle. This role involves managing suppliers, defining system requirements, and ensuring delivery through a structured V-cycle approach.
- Location: Bristol
- On Site: Remote
- Clearance: Eligibility for UK Security Clearance required
- Experience Level: Mid-Senior
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the system design and development of hydromechanical systems
- Manage and coordinate suppliers and technical stakeholders
- Define and produce technical specifications, test plans, and system documentation
- Drive activities across the full system V-cycle (requirements through to validation)
- Perform technical analysis and system integration activities
- Support verification and validation of system performance
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in systems engineering within complex engineering environments
- Knowledge of hydromechanical systems (e.g. landing gear, fuel systems, air & bleed, propulsion)
- Experience working across the full system V-cycle
- Ability to manage suppliers and technical interfaces
- Experience producing technical documentation and specifications
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
- Experience in systems engineering or system design roles
- Understanding of system integration and verification processes
Desirable Skills:
- Experience within aerospace or defence sectors
- Familiarity with safety-critical systems and regulated environments
- Exposure to multi-disciplinary engineering teams
