Job Description
We’re looking for a Project Engineer to join our team in London who can take full ownership of complex satellite missions and guide them from early concept through development, AIT, launch, and in‑orbit deployment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑moving environment and enjoys coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑impact space missions.

- Experience Level: Mid - Senior
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full lifecycle of satellite missions, from early concept through development, AIT, launch, and deployment.
- Create and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring progress aligns with mission objectives.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across technical, operational, and external factors throughout the mission.
- Oversee all mission documentation, including requirements, technical designs, test plans, and post‑mission reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment and can coordinate complex technical activities with clarity and confidence.
- A strong communicator who can align teams, manage expectations, and maintain momentum across mission phases.
- A proactive problem‑solver who anticipates challenges and drives solutions with ownership and accountability.
- Space industry experience is mandatory — ideally with direct involvement in satellite missions, spacecraft development, or in‑orbit operations.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
Desirable Skills:
- Proven experience managing complex engineering or space‑related projects end‑to‑end.
- Strong understanding of spacecraft development, AIT processes, and mission operations.
- Solid grasp of risk management, systems engineering principles, and technical documentation.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Ability to work across engineering, operations, and external partners with a collaborative mindset.
