Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Communications Assistant to support our communications team in executing internal and external messaging strategies. This role is ideal for someone with strong writing skills, creativity, and a passion for storytelling and brand communication.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement communication strategies to promote the organization’s brand and initiatives
- Create, edit, and distribute content for various channels including websites, social media, newsletters, and press releases
- Coordinate and support internal communications to ensure employees are informed and engaged
- Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on public relations impact
- Maintain and update the organization’s social media profiles and website content
- Assist in organizing events, press conferences, and community outreach program
Qualifications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience in a communications role, preferably as a coordinator or specialist
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
