Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned PR Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing PR campaigns, managing media relations, and contributing to our overall communication strategy. You will craft compelling narratives that enhance our brand image and drive public engagement. Your role will involve building strong relationships with key media contacts, preparing press releases, and organizing events that highlight our innovative solutions. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our marketing and product teams to ensure a consistent and cohesive voice across all communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR campaigns.
- Manage media relations and build strong relationships with media contacts, especially in the tech sector.
- Create and distribute press releases, speeches, and social media content.
- Plan and coordinate events to promote our brand and products.
- Analyze PR metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistent messaging and branding.

Note on Work Environment:
This position will start as a remote role. However, we are planning to move to a larger headquarters around April 2025, which may be located in Southern California or another state. We might need the PR professional to work from the office. If relocation becomes necessary, we will assist with moving costs.

Qualifications

- Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with media contacts, especially in the tech sector.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas for PR campaigns and events.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Familiarity with PR software and tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater).
- Basic understanding of SEO and content marketing.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics tools.
