About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys both the medical and client-service sides of veterinary medicine. As a Veterinarian Technician/Receptionist, you’ll help support patients throughout their visit while also making sure clients feel informed, welcomed, and cared for.

On the technician side, you’ll assist with patient restraint, triage, laboratory sample collection and processing, diagnostic imaging, anesthesia, surgery, medications, and nursing care for hospitalized patients. You’ll also communicate treatment plans and instructions to clients and work closely with the veterinary team to provide a smooth patient experience.

On the reception side, you’ll greet clients, answer phones, schedule appointments, assist with check-in and check-out, process payments, and help address client questions. You’ll serve as an important connection between our clients and veterinary team, helping ensure communication is clear, compassionate, and professional.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide safe, low-stress patient handling, restraint, triage, and nursing care.
  • Collect and process blood, urine, fecal, and skin samples.
  • Assist with laboratory testing, digital radiology, dental radiographs, anesthesia, and surgical procedures.
  • Administer medications and assist with monitoring hospitalized patients.
  • Greet clients and their pets and provide exceptional veterinary customer service.
  • Schedule appointments, answer phones, assist with payments, and support efficient hospital flow.
  • Communicate veterinary treatment plans, instructions, and services clearly.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and client histories.
  • Work collaboratively with doctors, technicians, and other veterinary team members.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For
