We operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year- providing immediate, uninterrupted emergency care with no on-call delays. Our hospital features a hospital-grade ICU, in-house laboratory and diagnostics, oxygen therapy, a fully stocked blood bank with transfusion capability, and critical care support from experienced emergency veterinarians and technicians.

Job Description
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Maintain the visual appeal or the hospital reception area, greet and welcome clients and patients, answer questions and triage client concerns, answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution, schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow, check in and check out clients and process payments. Our receptionists offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients and must be comfortable with various medical outcomes.
Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.

Qualifications
We're Looking For:
- Minimum 1+ years of veterinary receptionist experience preferred.
- Coverage of some weekend shifts are required for this position.
- Compassionate, calm team player with a positive attitude.
- Exceptional multitasking abilities and strong communication skills.
- Highly organized with excellent computer proficiency.
- Self-motivated, with a desire to continuously learn and grow in your role.
- Ability to handle emotionally charged situations with professionalism and resilience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in difficult or emotional circumstances.
- Comfortable working in a veterinary environment, must not be squeamish.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and manage multiple priorities effectively.
