PHP Application Architect & Sr. Back-end Developer

A.K.A. New Media Inc. (A.K.A.), an advanced technology and communications company, has an immediate requirement for a dynamic, focused, organized and energetic Account Coordinator who enjoys problem solving, to join its raisin® team.

We are looking for a Sr. Developer/Architect who has extensive knowledge in building & solutioning PHP applications. This is a short-term contract to make some modifications to the business logic of an existing application.  This would be a back-end application development position - please do not apply if you have solely worked on PHP frameworks delivering front-end websites on CMS platforms. We are looking for extensive knowledge and experience in the following areas:

Must haves:  

-          Expert programming knowledge of Vanilla PHP (V5 or higher)

-          Expert in integrating multiple applications using PHP code and restful APIs, with 5+ years of project experience

-          Experience architecting strategies for complex business applications that utilize batch processing, batch import and multi-threading

-          Experience developing for SaaS based products

-          Linux

Nice to have:

-          Experience dealing with Salesforce APIs and integration would be a plus

-          Experience with Silverlight CMS would be a plus

-          Programming in .Net
