Company Description

Guardian Flight, Alaska’s premier air ambulance service, is seeking an Administrative Assistant for their Anchorage office. The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support and ensures that various administrative procedures are being executed smoothly without any hindrance to the smooth operation of Guardian Flight.

They will provide office services by implementing administrative systems, procedures, and policies, and monitoring administrative projects. The ideal candidate must be professional, maintain confidentiality and be enthusiastic, optimistic, and self-motivated.

Job Description

  • Provide excellent customer service by answering, screening, and directing all incoming calls
  • Take/Prepare minutes for all company meetings including Safety/QM/QI
  • Draft/Prepare news updates/publications
  • Oversee vehicle and crew house maintenance and scheduling
  • Oversee the ordering, organization, and tracking of supplies/inventory
  • Oversee the ordering of company uniforms and jackets
  • Submit orders via AP software
  • Reconcile credit card account statements
  • Assist Program Director, Division Managers, and Business Development with tasks and projects

Qualifications

MINIMUM:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous administrative support experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer skills in person and over the telephone
  • Ability to compose grammatically correct and well-written emails and written correspondence
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Proficient working knowledge of MS office suite, including Word and Excel

PREFERRED:

  • Associates/College degree
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Multi-tasker
