Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Administrator with expertise in supporting IT infrastructure within the telecom industry. This role involves managing and optimizing enterprise IT systems, ensuring their reliability, security, and efficiency to meet the operational needs of a telecom-focused organization. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various teams to maintain seamless IT operations, resolve technical issues, and support the unique requirements of telecom services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and maintain IT systems and infrastructure, including servers, storage, and cloud platforms, to support telecom operations.
• Ensure the performance, security, and availability of enterprise IT systems tailored to the telecom industry’s needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support telecom-specific applications and integrations.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and IT resources across various systems.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
• Implement and manage data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Ensure compliance with telecom industry standards, data protection regulations, and company policies.
• Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
• Provide technical support to end users, ensuring effective communication and resolution of IT-related concerns.
• Research and recommend technology upgrades or enhancements to optimize IT operations.
• Stay updated on the latest IT trends and practices relevant to the telecom sector.
• Follow SOC2 protocols to ensure the company’s compliance with industry standards for security and data privacy.
• Handle other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the team’s success and business objectives.
• Must learn proprietary applications.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Must have good English proficiency, both written and verbal.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as an IT Systems Administrator, preferably in a telecom-focused organization.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and cloud environments.
- Proficiency in managing enterprise software, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and IT tools.
- Knowledge of telecom industry applications and requirements is a significant advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to system management. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with teams and supporting users.
- Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA Server+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are advantageous.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, remote working environment.
Additional Information
You must live in El Salvador or in other LATAM countries outside of the US.

This is a remote position. Candidates must have a reliable internet connection and a suitable workspace to effectively perform job responsibilities.
