Job Description
Director – Industrial Hygiene
AEI Consultants has an opportunity
available for a full-time Industrial Hygiene Director. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of
experience managing technical projects, leading a national team, assisting a
sales team in business development, budgeting and managing financials, and
previous success in developing and following organizational business plans.
The role and responsibilities of the Industrial Hygiene Director will
include:
Developing a vision and business plan for growing the revenue and staff
capabilities in alignment with the overall goals of the company;Participating in the development of the company goals and the strategy
for growth and development of service lines;Responsible for the profitability of the division, including monitoring
divisional revenue and adjusting staffing capabilities/needs as necessary to
maintain profitability and to develop action plans for regional growth when
necessary;Maintaining technical excellence, deep understanding of client’s needs,
rigor in consulting quality and communication, exceptional commitment to client
satisfaction, and willingness to instill these insights in junior staff;Educating the sales team and partnering with sales to appropriately
qualify and price services;Assisting the sales team with proposal development for advanced
services;Responsible for oversight and management of utilization, training,
human resources, and career development for all junior staff with support from
Corporate Operations, HR and Finance Departments;Partnering with regional sales staff to develop divisional clients
through networking and delivering high quality technical services to all new
clients;Representing AEI in the commercial real estate community by attending
regional industry events, networking, and presenting technical information at
client or networking events. Advance the
reputation of AEI as an industry expert in Industrial Hygiene.
We are seeking a professional,
dedicated, enthusiastic addition to a collaborative office environment with the
following experience, skills and attributes:
Bachelor’s degree in the sciences or engineering plus necessary
industrial hygiene-related training and certifications10+ years of experience managing technical projects and serving as an industry
expertExcellent writing and critical thinking skills
Ability to manage and motivate others for employee retention and client
satisfactionDemonstrates superior organizational and time management skills
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under
