Job Description
AECOM Hunt is seeking a technically skilled CMiC Application Support Analyst to join its Information Technology team. This role goes beyond frontline helpdesk support — we are looking for someone with hands-on experience in CMiC ERP environments who can operate fluently at the intersection of construction business processes, application configuration, and data. The ideal candidate understands how CMiC data flows across modules, can write queries to investigate and validate data, and has built or maintained reports that put operational information in the hands of business users.
This position will support the CMiC platform used daily across AECOM Hunt's project, finance, and operations teams. The right candidate is someone who has walked the path from ERP support into broader technical contribution — curious about the data behind the system, comfortable with SQL, and capable of building lasting solutions rather than just closing tickets.
This position will offer flexibility for primarily remote work schedules and can be based from a variety of locations in the US
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Provide CMiC application support across Finance, Job Costing, Project Management, Procurement, and Payroll modules — diagnosing configuration issues, data anomalies, workflow interruptions, and process errors.
- Assist end users with CMiC navigation, module functionality, and business process questions; distinguish between user error, configuration issues, and application defects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve access issues including user account lifecycle management (create, modify, deactivate), role assignments, and permission structures aligned with job responsibilities.
- As AECOM Hunt's corporate ERP and single source of truth for financials, CMiC sits at the center of how the business operates. Candidates who bring an understanding of how data flows through an ERP — and who are comfortable using SQL to help investigate issues or validate outputs — will find themselves well-equipped to provide meaningful support in this environment.
- Support and maintain integration points between CMiC and adjacent systems (Textura, Concur, Prophix, CorPay, DocuSign, ClearStory, and others); candidates who have experience supporting downstream analytics or reporting platforms that consume CMiC data — such as Power BI — are strongly encouraged to apply, though this is not a requirement of the role.
- Document issues, root causes, and resolutions to build a structured knowledge base; identify recurring patterns that merit permanent fixes or process improvements.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS in Information Technology, Business, Construction Management, or a related field + 2 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting or administering a construction ERP platform — CMiC experience strongly preferred; comparable systems (Viewpoint, Procore Financials, Sage 300 CRE, or similar) considered.
- Working knowledge of SQL — ability to write queries, investigate data, and validate results in a relational database environment (Oracle or SQL Server).
- Familiarity with CMiC modules including Financials, Job Costing, Project Management, and/or Procurement.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills — ability to trace an issue from the user interface back to its data or configuration root cause.
- Demonstrated ability to work across technical and business stakeholders and communicate clearly in both directions.
Additional Information
- Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position
- Qualified applications who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
- This position does not include relocation benefits
- THIS POSTING IS FOR A CURRENT VACANCY, AND AECOM INTENDS TO FILL THIS POSITION BY NOVEMBER 11 2026.
