The successful candidate will work as part of multidisciplinary teams supporting a wide range of environmental projects, including water and wastewater infrastructure, ecology, environmental permitting, contaminated land, remediation, infrastructure, energy, and oil & gas developments. • Prepare technical reports, environmental assessments, work plans, figures, maps, and supporting documentation for UK and US environmental projects.

  • Analyse and interpret environmental datasets, including groundwater, surface water, soil, wastewater, ecological, and infrastructure-related information.

  • Support environmental impact assessments, site investigations, remediation projects, environmental constraints assessments, permitting activities, and conceptual site model development.

  • Ensure technical deliverables meet client requirements, regulatory guidance, and AECOM quality standards.

Environmental Planning & Project Delivery

  • Support the planning and delivery of environmental investigations, surveys, monitoring programmes, and assessment activities.

  • Review environmental information, aerial imagery, mapping resources, and project data to identify environmental constraints, ecological sensitivities, access considerations, and project risks.

  • Contribute to projects involving water resources, wastewater infrastructure, storm overflow assessments, contaminated land management, remediation, energy, and oil & gas developments.

  • Collaborate with project managers, technical specialists, and field teams across multiple geographies to support successful project delivery.

Environmental Data Analysis & Information Management

  • Organise, review, and manage environmental information from a variety of project sources.

  • Analyse monitoring, survey, laboratory, and site investigation data, preparing technical summaries and interpretations to support project decision-making.

  • Develop figures, data tables, plans, and project documentation to support reporting and regulatory submissions.

  • Use GIS and other digital tools to support environmental assessments, mapping, spatial analysis, and project planning activities where required

Qualifications
