Job Description

We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our growing team in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal technical role, you will conduct precise land surveys and comprehensive site assessments for major infrastructure and development projects. As a Land Surveyor, you will be instrumental in ensuring project accuracy, regulatory compliance, and the timely delivery of surveying data that supports effective project planning and execution. Your meticulous work will directly impact the success of our projects and the safety of construction operations.

  • Conduct comprehensive land surveys using advanced surveying equipment including GPS/GNSS systems, total stations, and laser levels for infrastructure, development, and construction projects
  • Perform detailed site analysis and reconnaissance to establish survey control networks, reference points, and coordinate systems aligned with project requirements
  • Collect, process, and analyze surveying data with precision, ensuring accuracy and strict adherence to project specifications and UAE surveying standards
  • Prepare detailed survey reports, site plans, and technical documentation using AutoCAD and specialized surveying software
  • Establish and maintain accurate coordinate systems, benchmarks, and control points for ongoing project reference, monitoring, and quality assurance
  • Collaborate effectively with project engineers, contractors, architects, and stakeholders to ensure surveying requirements align with project objectives and timelines
  • Conduct leveling, traversing, and boundary surveys to support infrastructure design, planning, and construction phases
  • Monitor and document existing underground utilities and infrastructure to prevent conflicts and ensure safe construction practices
  • Ensure full compliance with local UAE regulations, safety protocols, quality standards, and industry best practices throughout all surveying activities
  • Maintain organized and accurate field notes, survey records, and comprehensive project documentation for audit, reference, and quality control purposes
  • Identify potential surveying challenges and implement innovative solutions to optimize efficiency and accuracy
  • Communicate survey findings and technical recommendations clearly to multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Geomatics, or a related discipline
  • Professional Land Surveyor license or certification (UAE or internationally recognized equivalent)
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in land surveying with demonstrated expertise in infrastructure and development projects
  • Advanced proficiency with surveying software and tools including AutoCAD, GPS/GNSS processing software, and total station operation
  • Strong knowledge of coordinate systems, datum transformations, surveying calculations, and technical analysis
  • Comprehensive familiarity with UAE surveying standards, regulations, local construction practices, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail and quality assurance mindset
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for seamless collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in dynamic, fast-paced project environments
  • Knowledge of underground utilities, infrastructure systems, and construction safety protocols
  • Valid UAE driving license (preferred)
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies (preferred)
