Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned leader to deliver complex electrical construction scopes from preconstruction through commissioning for our project at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center.   You will drive schedule, cost, quality, and stakeholder alignment, serving as the client’s trusted advisor and leading multidisciplinary teams and trade partners.

Key responsibilities

  • Establishes operational objectives and work plans, delegates assignment to subordinate managers.
  • Reviews objectives to determine success of operation.
  • Develops, modifies, executes company polices that affect immediate operations and may have company-wide effect.
  • Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
  • Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction.
  • Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the planning, design and/or construction management activities and personnel under individual's direction on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS + 10 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in electrical construction with multi-million-dollar project delivery
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • CMAA Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
  • OSHA 10-Hour Construction
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
