Join our dynamic and multidisciplinary Water team as a Civil Engineer in our rapidly growing Cork office - as well as taking advantage of our flexible hybrid working model. Projects may include, but not limited to, work on dams and reservoirs, water/wastewater treatment and supply systems and flood risk management projects. Here’s an idea of what you may do:

  • Design: Work closely with your manager and peers in the design phase of projects that make a difference to our communities.
  • Project Management: Support in project-related tasks like research, data gathering, and preparing reports. 
  • Field Visits: We will provide site visit opportunities to gain practical experience. This could involve conducting site surveys, inspections and shadowing experienced engineers carrying out supervision. 
  • Collaboration: Communicate in meetings with clients, contractors, and other professionals to discuss project requirements, progress, and challenges.

Qualifications

Ready to push the limits of what’s possible?

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or related area.
  • Experience working in water utilities industry. 
  • Membership of a professional institution with a view to gaining chartership.
