The Product Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the success of our programs through strategic planning, compelling storytelling, and data-driven marketing initiatives. This position is responsible for developing go-to-market strategies, overseeing paid media campaigns, and creating impactful program messaging to connect with target audiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in market research, cross-functional collaboration, and performance analysis, paired with exceptional communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role is critical in ensuring consistent messaging, optimizing marketing efforts, and delivering measurable results that align with Chamberlain University’s goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive go-to-market plans, including product launches, positioning, and messaging to drive awareness and engagement.
- Leverage storytelling techniques to articulate the product’s value proposition, connecting its features and benefits to the needs and aspirations of target audiences.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive dynamics, using insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Partner with product management, enrollment, and creative teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across all touchpoints.
- Oversee paid media strategies and collaborate with the media team to execute campaigns that amplify product and institution messaging and maximize reach and engagement.
- Develop presentations to empower internal teams with the knowledge and resources needed to effectively communicate product benefits to prospects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field required, or Master’s Degree preferred.
- 6+ years of Marketing experience required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, including the ability to create detailed reports, analyze data, and design impactful presentations.
- Proven ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies including product launches, positioning, and messaging.
- Strong ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences and communicate product value effectively.
- Experience conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and understanding customer needs to inform strategy.
- Familiarity with paid media strategies and digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, social media advertising, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with teams across Adtalem.
- Ability to analyze marketing metrics, measure campaign success, and refine strategies based on data insights.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience crafting marketing materials and presentations.
- Able and willing to travel about 20% of the time.
Additional Information
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $70,696 and $124,230. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
