Job Description

Location: Remote (must be available during East Coast business hours)

Salary Range: $30,000 – $40,000 USD

Reports to: Senior Omnichannel Manager of Growth

Role Overview: 

The Growth Team at Acquco is seeking a highly detail-oriented Marketplace Operations Analyst (Data-Focused) to support cross-marketplace operations with a strong emphasis on data accuracy, validation, and upkeep. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working hands-on with data in Excel/Google Sheets, is highly organized, and takes pride in clean, reliable datasets that enable teams to move faster and make better decisions.

You will act as a critical data support partner across multiple eCommerce marketplaces, ensuring that product, inventory, and forecasting data is accurate, complete, and consistently aligned across systems and platforms to drive marketplace efficiency and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cross-Marketplace Data Support: Provide end-to-end data support across all marketplaces, serving as a central point of execution for data-related requests.

  • Download, format, and maintain marketplace templates for listings, inventory, pricing, and forecasting.

  • Reporting & Analysis: Use Excel (VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, formulas, pivot tables) to analyze datasets, identify errors, and surface inconsistencies.

  • Prepare clean, reliable datasets for use by Growth Team, Supply Chain, and Marketplace managers.

  • Data Input & Maintenance: Input, update, and maintain large datasets across multiple marketplaces and internal systems.

  • Set up, populate, and manage Excel files used for inventory tracking, forecasting, and operational reporting.

  • Data Validation & Quality Control: Clean, audit, and cross-validate data between sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Identify discrepancies in inventory levels, SKU mappings, and product attributes, and resolve or escalate issues as needed.

  • Validate SKU connections, parent/child relationships, and marketplace integrations.

  • Inventory & Forecasting Support: Validate inventory status across channels to ensure accurate availability and prevent overselling or stock issues.

  • Support the creation and maintenance of forecasting files by ensuring inputs are accurate, complete, and up to date.

  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, confirm assumptions, and ensure alignment across systems.

  • Proactively communicate findings, issues, and data gaps in a clear and structured manner.

Who You Are:

  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Strong reading comprehension skills.

  • A clear communicator—comfortable working with cross-functional teams.

  • Skilled in Excel, including use of formulas, tables, and VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs.

  • Comfortable with data entry, validation, and light analysis.

  • Interested in online marketplaces (Target Plus, Macy's Marketplace, Lowe's, Wayfair, Home Depot) or eCommerce operations.

  • A problem solver who enjoys digging into data to find answers.

  • Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

  • 1–2 years of experience in eCommerce operations, online marketplace management, brand management, or data-focused roles 

  • Professional fluency in English (written and verbal)

  • Prior experience working with a US based or English-speaking company 

  • Experience in a sales, client-facing, or other revenue/GMV-driven support role

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
