Job Description

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Room Attendants, House Attendants, Public Area Attendants
  • Assign daily work schedules, room allocations, and special projects according to occupancy levels and operational requirements.
  • Ensure all guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and service areas are cleaned and maintained according to brand standards.
  • Ensure proper handling and reporting of Lost & Found items according to hotel procedures.
  • Monitor DND (Do Not Disturb) rooms and ensure appropriate follow-up procedures are followed.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, concerns, and complaints
  • Lead, motivate, coach, and support the housekeeping team to achieve departmental objectives. Assist with performance evaluations and development plans
  • Control and monitor the usage of cleaning supplies, guest amenities, linen, uniforms, and equipment.
  • Assist with monthly inventories of linen, guest supplies, and housekeeping materials
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages promptly
  • Ensure housekeeping equipment is maintained and used safely and correctly
  • Complete daily inspection reports, discrepancy reports, and shift handovers

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of housekeeping operations and hotel standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle guest complaints professionally.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
  • Inventory and stock management skills.
  • Proficiency in hotel systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage

Additional Information
