Job Description

The Executive Housekeeper oversees the full spectrum of housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring that every guest space—from guestrooms to public areas—reflects Roswyn’s unique blend of style, warmth, and meticulous attention to detail.

This role leads the Housekeeping Department with vision, finesse, and a commitment to creating a sensorial, impeccably maintained environment that aligns with the Morgans Originals philosophy.

The Executive Housekeeper acts as a brand guardian, operational leader, and team mentor, upholding the highest levels of cleanliness, design integrity, and personalized service.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

Leadership & Department Management

  • Lead, inspire, and develop the Housekeeping and Laundry teams, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and service excellence.
  • Strategically plan, organize, and supervise all housekeeping operations in alignment with Roswyn’s luxury lifestyle positioning.
  • Ensure departmental policies, SOPs, and brand standards are consistently executed and evolved based on guest feedback, style trends, and operational needs.
  • Conduct daily briefings and regular training to ensure colleagues remain engaged, aligned, and empowered.

Guest Experience & Brand Quality

  • Ensure all guest rooms, suites, and public spaces meet the highest luxury lifestyle standards, maintaining Roswyn’s signature aesthetic and ambiance.
  • Respond promptly and gracefully to guest requests, preferences, and complaints—turning every interaction into an opportunity to surprise and delight.
  • Oversee VIP arrivals and curated in-room experiences, ensuring flawless presentation and personalized touches.
  • Operational Coordination
  • Work hand-in-hand with Front Office on room allocation, housekeeping schedules, and readiness for arrivals, departures, and special events.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering to ensure timely follow-up on maintenance issues and the upkeep of housekeeping equipment.
  • Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Spa, and other operational teams to support cleaning and setup needs across the hotel.

Financial Management

  • Develop and manage the housekeeping budget, ensuring cost-effective yet high-standard operations.
  • Monitor supply usage, inventory levels, and procurement to ensure seamless operations with optimal financial controls.
  • Implement strategic measures to improve efficiency without compromising Roswyn’s luxury and design ethos.

Quality Assurance & Safety

  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to maintain flawless presentation, functionality, and guest comfort.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental standards, including hygiene protocols and sanitation guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and audits for internal and brand compliance.

People & Culture Partnership

  • Work with the Talent & Culture team on recruitment, onboarding, coaching, recognition, and performance evaluation.
  • Foster a warm, inclusive, and expressive work environment aligned with the Morgans Originals culture.
  • Lead by example—demonstrating Roswyn’s values, grooming standards, and service behaviors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field required.
  • 6–8 years of housekeeping experience in luxury or lifestyle hotels, including at least 3 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
  • Exceptional communication and guest-handling skills with a calm, polished, and solution-oriented approach.
  • Expertise in housekeeping standards, cleaning technologies, textiles, laundry operations, and room aesthetics.
  • Strong understanding of hotel safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Strong systems knowledge (MS Office, PMS, housekeeping software).
