Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Executive - Housekeeping to join our hospitality team in Mysuru, India. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all housekeeping operations, ensuring exceptional cleanliness, organization, and guest satisfaction across our property. You will lead with integrity, drive continuous improvement, and maintain the highest standards of quality while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Your strategic vision and operational excellence will directly impact our guests' experiences and our organization's reputation.

  • Oversee all housekeeping operations and maintain responsibility for the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall quality standards throughout the entire property
  • Conduct regular room inspections and comprehensive quality audits to ensure compliance with organizational standards and guest expectations
  • Coordinate with external housekeeping service providers, monitor daily performance delivery, and verify that contracted services meet agreed-upon standards
  • Identify quality deficiencies promptly, communicate concerns assertively yet professionally, and implement corrective actions to resolve issues
  • Manage and verify vendor invoices against actual services rendered, ensuring accuracy and cost-effectiveness in all housekeeping expenditures
  • Collaborate effectively with Front Office, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences
  • Address guest feedback and complaints regarding cleanliness and quality with empathy and transparency, working toward swift resolution
  • Oversee inventory management of linens, cleaning supplies, and housekeeping equipment, maintaining optimal stock levels at all times
  • Support property audits and inspections, contributing to the continuous development and refinement of quality assurance protocols
  • Train, mentor, and develop housekeeping staff, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and professional growth
  • Track and analyze performance metrics, identifying trends and implementing data-driven improvements to enhance operational efficiency
  • Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, incidents, and corrective actions, ensuring transparency and compliance with organizational policies

Qualifications

  • Completed formal training or certification in hospitality management, hotel administration, or housekeeping operations (preferred)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on housekeeping experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment
  • Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role with demonstrated ability to manage and motivate teams
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain composure in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests, staff, and external partners
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort learning new property management systems
  • Solid understanding of hospitality standards, health and safety regulations, and hygiene protocols specific to the hospitality industry
  • Analytical mindset with experience in budget management, cost control, and financial reconciliation
  • Problem-solving orientation with a solution-focused approach to operational challenges
  • Flexibility and willingness to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays, as operational needs require
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and cleanliness
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining professional boundaries and assertiveness when necessary
  • Demonstrated commitment to guest satisfaction and service recovery
  • Valid identification and eligibility to work in India
