Job Description

We are looking for a passionate People & Culture and Learning Coordinator who believes that exceptional employee experiences create exceptional guest experiences. This role supports the entire ambassador journey while coordinating learning and development initiatives that strengthen our culture, elevate capabilities, and inspire continuous growth.

Your Mission

As a People & Culture and Learning Coordinator, you will support the day-to-day operations of the People & Culture Department while coordinating learning and development initiatives across the resort. You will work closely with leaders and ambassadors to deliver an exceptional employee experience, ensure smooth HR administration, and foster a culture of learning, engagement, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

People & Culture Coordination

  • Create a welcoming and memorable onboarding experience for every new Heartist®.
  • Provide administrative support throughout the ambassador lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, transfers, promotions, contract renewals, and separation.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files.
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, wellbeing, employee facilities, and cultural initiatives that enhance the Heartist® experience.
  • Coordinate ambassador communication, People & Culture events, celebrations, and employee activities.
  • Prepare HR reports, presentations, dashboards, and administrative documentation as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labour regulations, and HR administrative procedures.
  • Maintain HR systems and databases with accuracy and confidentiality.

Learning & Development

  • Coordinate and administer the annual Learning & Development calendar.
  • Assist L&D Manager to organize orientation programmes, mandatory training, brand training, service culture workshops, leadership programmes, and departmental learning sessions.
  • Coordinate training logistics, including venue preparation, registrations, attendance, learning materials, and evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate training records, learning reports, and compliance documentation within company learning platforms and HR systems.
  • Support the development of a culture that encourages continuous learning and professional growth.

General Responsibilities

  • Promote Sofitel's values and the Heartist® culture in every interaction.
  • Deliver a professional, responsive, and people-focused service to all ambassadors.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to identify learning opportunities and support people development initiatives.
  • Support People & Culture projects and continuous improvement initiatives that contribute to operational excellence.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling employee information and sensitive matters.
  • Carry out any other duties, projects, or assignments as delegated by the Director of People & Culture in support of departmental objectives and the overall success of the resort.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Human Resources, People & Culture, or administrative roles.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS is preferred.
  • Good organizational, communication, and administrative skills.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Positive attitude with a passion for delivering excellent employee experiences
