Job Description
The incumbent will be responsible for training interventions for the Therapeutic business.
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mind-set and a passion for driving organizational growth and performance through learning and development initiatives.
The incumbent will be responsible for effectively planning and delivering Induction program for new hires which includes preparation of modules and imparting classroom sessions on anatomy/disease/products/selling skills. Also responsible for sustaining the training programs by conducting periodic classroom sessions/role-plays during cycle meetings etc and through joint field work in consultation with the ZSMs, thereby constantly benchmarking and improving the key deliverables/productivity of the field personnel
The employee must conduct their work activities in compliance with all Abbvie internal requirements and with all applicable regulatory requirements. Abbvie internal requirements include compliance with ethics, environmental health and safety, financial, human resources, and general business policies, requirements and objectives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Identification of training needs and design mechanisms for addressing them
- Identify training needs in consultation with stake-holders.
- Learning Managers planning on strategic initiatives facilitating IFT with Competencies as defined.
- Enhance learning effectiveness by evaluating key digital tools, new approaches and techniques facilitates IFT enhancing competencies for effective customer centricity
- Coordinate logistics such as venue, material, dates and nominations for trainings
Training Delivery
- Induction programs as per the business requirement including the design, content preparation etc.
- Role-plays during cycle meetings.
- Planned training interventions (Classroom sessions) for new product introductions, cascade training programs, refreshers, role-plays during cycle meetings etc.
- Cascading the zonal training modules on selling skills, competition and products.
- Foster collaboration across all levels within diverse functions including business units, operations, Finance, Legal Compliance, and Global functions to implement activities related to commercial strategy and digital initiatives.
- Oversee and optimize launch excellence processes for new products/indications
- Collaborate with digital service providers to propose innovative solutions to business challenges.
- Provide support on marketing excellence, enhancing digital capabilities
- Focus on strategic initiatives facilitating IFT with Competencies as defined.
- Supports training financial objectives by recommending budget items; controlling costs
Sustaining/ Overseeing the implementation of training interventions
- Field coaching through joint field work in consultation with stake holders.
- Product/ Skill write-ups.
- Measuring the impact of training through Quiz during cycle meetings, qtrly as identified zonal needs etc.
- Productivity benchmarking and enhancement.
- Metrics to map the Performance / Productivity enhancements.
- Facilitating sustaining Coaching Culture by driving Coaching Bulletins on qtrly basis.
Others
- Lend support to the sales & marketing team in designing the VA/ LBLs etc.
- Cultural ambassadors by Living Abbvie Values in all Ways We Work
- Offer market insights and competitive intelligence to support strategic decisions and Business development
- Coordinate with the global Learning team to deliver a robust onboarding and competency frameworks with necessary BUD alignment, market research and business case.
Self Learning & Development
- Upskill self and be aligned with International Learning by participating in learning opportunities; maintaining personal networks; participating in workshops and global training programs
Qualifications
- Ideal candidate should be a Science graduate/ preferably with Diploma in Training
- 10+ years of corporate /Regional training with MNC pharma/ Premier Indian Pharma companies
- Total Experience of 15 Years or more in Pharma organizations.
- Age less than 47 Years.

- Excellent communication, influencing, story-telling, facilitation & presentation skills
- Strategic landscape understanding with account & stakeholder planning, customer engagement ability
