Job Description
Role purpose:
We are looking for an in-field Market Access Key Account Manager responsible for the southern part of Poland. The role focuses on building strong relationships with payers and healthcare providers, identifying access barriers, and supporting strategies that ensure patients can benefit from AbbVie’s innovative therapies.
Core job responsibilities:
Understand decision-making processes and needs within key healthcare accounts.
Provide payer insights and anticipated system changes to brand and cross-functional teams.
Build strategic relationships with payers/providers to identify and address access challenges.
Work cross-functionally to create “win-win” partnerships that support product access.
Develop account-specific strategies and engagement plans.
Lead or support negotiations, contracting, and tender processes.
Monitor execution and performance of key accounts to improve outcomes.
Ensure effective collaboration within the KAM Payer team and with in-field teams, especially in TOP10 hospitals.
Support team capability building and talent development.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (life sciences, pharmacy, business, or related field).
3–5 years of experience in Market Access.
Ability to translate strategy into practical account plans.
Strong negotiation, analytical and financial skills.
Solid understanding of payer mindset and decision-making processes.
Proven experience managing key accounts.
Strong leadership skills and ability to work in a matrix environment.
Excellent communication skills and very good English.
Willingness to travel 60–70%.
