We are seeking a full-time Safety & Training Coordinator to join the team at our distribution facility in Winchester, Virginia.
Job Description
The Safety & Training Coordinator is responsible for taking the lead in safety-related activities, including audits, inspections, and incident investigations, while supporting training initiatives. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards and company policies, promotes a safe work environment, and collaborates with the Training & Safety Manager to align safety programs with operational goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or higher preferred
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse safety and compliance roles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety audit processes
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to lead investigations and implement corrective actions
- Must be able to work in varying weather conditions and changing temperatures
