Job Description

Position Summary

The Account Based Marketing Specialist is responsible for accelerating Zurn’s demand-focused marketing programs to meet the organization’s growth objectives and drive incremental revenue through targeted account opportunities in collaboration with our sales and marketing leaders. This position is located in Milwaukee, WI or remote, and reports directly to the Manager of Demand Generation, and must align with Zurn’s corporate marketing group, the Business Unit leaders and their respective teams in Product Management, Engineering, and Sales.


  • Lead the development and execution of our ABM strategy, building multi-channel go-to-market campaigns targeting key enterprise accounts.

  • Design and execute marketing plans for specified sales accounts and contacts on a 1:1 basis that focus on accelerating existing opportunities or landing new opportunities within assigned account(s)

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and content team to create and personalize high level messaging, anchor and supporting content, nurture assets, and sales enablement

  • Using marketing analytics and reporting platforms, compile reporting to determine business impact measured by named account pipeline/opportunities (sourced/influenced), database growth and accuracy for named accounts, account/person engagement scores, and sales/partner utilization of programs; make recommendations based upon metric results

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to align on market opportunities, objectives, benchmarks, messaging and audience targets, and content to ensure campaign success

  • Communicate and educate the sales, marketing, product, and customer teams regarding new and planned marketing activities.

  • Support evaluation and selection of tools and vendors that contribute to Account Based Marketing activities and deliverables.

  • Plan and execute the market strategies focused on product adoption and the overall success of the existing and prospective customers.

  • Deliver training and tools to our sales teams to help them be more efficient and effective.

  • Improve marketing effectiveness by identifying opportunities through more effective audience segmentation, marketing techniques, and processes.

  • Measure and report on the success of campaigns & optimize approach based on real-time analytics and data.

  • Enhance the buyer journey as it relates to content development and inbound marketing efforts.

Experience and Skill Required

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or General Business

  • 2-4 years of marketing experience, preferably in a corporate environment

  • Experience executing public relations activities including social media across all major platforms in a business setting.

  • Familiarity with SEO and SEM tactics, success factors

  • Basic knowledge of web content management systems (e.g. Kentico, Hubspot, social platforms, etc.)

  • Standout communication skills with extraordinary ability to collaborate constructively and cross-functionally.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to partner with various teams and stake holders to drive results.

  • Highly analytical with focus on metrics and outcomes.

  • Must be able to travel up to 10-15% of the time.
