Job Description

We are looking for a senior, analytical and highly motivated professional to join our Supply Chain Management team in Munich.

In this role, you will drive data-based decision-making across our European logistics network of more than 10 fulfilment centres. You will plan, control and optimise the network at both strategic and tactical levels, taking ownership of key decision processes.

You will further develop a complex optimisation model covering inbound, parcel production/fulfilment, linehaul transportation and last-mile delivery. Balancing cost efficiency and lead-time optimisation while respecting operational constraints will be central to your work. This is a collaborative, high-impact role requiring strong analytical skills and the ability to influence stakeholders from diverse backgrounds using tools such as SQL, Python or Tableau.

Your Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage production and outbound transportation flows

  • Coordinate outbound processes to ensure optimal delivery speed at minimal cost

  • Monitor key performance indicators (e.g. cost per parcel, lead times, fulfilment workload, production backlog)

  • Identify and resolve outbound-related issues and conduct root cause analysis

  • Increase transparency and monitoring capabilities across the logistics network and ensure alignment with operational departments

  • Define, optimise and implement efficient supply chain processes in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders

  • Collaborate closely with inbound-related teams such as replenishment, transportation and fulfilment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Analytics or a related field

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in logistics or e-commerce as an Analyst or in a similar role

  • Proven experience in creating SQL queries and writing Python scripts

  • Solid knowledge of supply chain processes

  • Project management experience

  • Strong numerical mindset and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics in simple terms

  • Fluency in English (C1/C2), both written and spoken
