Job Description
Job Description:
We are looking for a Project Manager (Labelling & Packaging) to oversee and streamline the successful execution of artwork and labelling projects through a single point of contact across multiple brands and categories within our Own Brands Food department.
This role involves close collaboration with Brand Managers, Product Development, the Procurement Team, and various other stakeholders. Rather than being responsible for a specific brand, you will manage a key process across all brands—translating strategic direction into concrete execution and results.
As part of the highly strategic Own Brands Food team, you will have the opportunity to build and optimise processes from scratch, making a direct impact on the continued success of zooplus.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and drive labelling projects within the Own Brands Food department, focusing on product declarations and packaging labelling, in close cooperation with Product Development Experts (technical team), Brand Management teams, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Reduce time-to-market by adhering to established processes and utilising our project management (Jira) and artwork management tools (Wave).
- Coordinate, support, and oversee the labelling process across all internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and manage declaration templates and ensure optimal packaging implementation across 20+ languages, working closely with translation, proofreading, and design agencies.
- Analyse and optimise the artwork process, manage file back-ups, and oversee packaging switchovers for different suppliers.
Qualifications
- University degree in economics, preferably with a focus on business administration, marketing, or project management.
- Initial internship or work experience in product or project management, ideally within FMCG, retail, or the pet food industry; experience as an Account Executive at an advertising agency is also relevant.
- Strong analytical skills with a passion for working with large volumes of data; attention to detail is essential.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English (C1+); additional language skills are a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Preferably, some experience using Jira for managing projects and product-related processes.
- Ideally, experience collaborating with external agencies.
