In order to be able to supply our customers across Europe quickly and in accordance with our quality standards, our European Fulfillment (FC) centers and logistics network are an integral part of Zooplus. Zooplus is operating 11 FCs in all parts of Europe via Logistics Service Providers and launching every year new FCs. The Invoice Inspection team is part of the Operations department (headquarter in Munich) and supports our fast growing business with the review and release of transportation invoices. To strengthen our team in Wroclaw we are looking for a new colleague (full time) .

Your tasks:

• Checks monthly all fulfillment and transportation invoices against orders/work carried out, to ensure their correctness as regards quantities, price and contract coding and rectify any discrepancies.
• Operational Claim Management and financial synthesis.
• Performs cost or price analysis for operations.
• Controlling the costs of contracts from receipt of order through to final account.
• Contribute to the development of framework contracts including rates and service levels with partners.
• Ensure that all processes followed are in line with legislation and company policies and are auditable with key documents, information and communications confidentially stored.
• Works closely with other logistics departments to ensure consistency, alignment and efficiency where departments overlap and to continuously improve service and cost.
• Costs reporting on a monthly basis.
• Develops and maintains constructive working relationships with external partners.
• Identifies, investigates and proposes cost saving opportunities within the supply chain and develops operational plans for implementation, while ensuring due diligence and stakeholder engagement.
• Negotiates and settles disputed claims.
• Driving forward the automation of invoice verification in coordination with Operations, Controlling, Accounting and IT.
• Participation in invoice control improvement projects.

• Completed degree, preferably in Finance or Business related
• Experience with invoices, Logistics invoice experience is a plus
• Years of progressive experience in finance, controlling, procurement, consulting or logistic roles with heavy invoice control interfaces.
• Ideally 1-2 years relevant working experience in similar position
• Drive for improvement and automation of the processes
• Strong numeracy skills and a precise, pro-active work style
• Strength in communications
• Experience with MS office
• In-depth knowledge of invoice control methodology and industry standards.
• Experience in common methods of project management
• Fluent in English.
