Job Description

Based in our Munich headquarters, we are looking for an exceptional candidate to support our fast-growing business as Senior Finance Business Partner to the Chief Sales Officer & Vice President to Pricing and Promotions, members of our Exco.

Your reporting line will be into the Global FP&A team.

We expect you to take responsibility for day 1 and therefore looking for someone with strong leadership capabilities.

Responsabilities:

  • Be the right hand to the VP of Pricing and promotions and be a member of the Sales Leadership team.
  • Drive responsibility for the topline and bottom-line delivery for countries, against yearly targets and long-term business ambitions. For this, you need to be an 'operator' and be good at handling and analyzing performance using data
  • Support the VP/CSO with business performance routines (weekly, monthly)
  • Conducting financial analyses & business cases to evaluate performance on an ad hoc basis.
  • Drive the budgeting and latest estimate process for the Markets/countries.
  • Turn fact-based knowledge into relevant insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare scenarios with pros and cons and risk mitigations to facilitate high-quality decisions.
  • Being able to handle ambiguity and being able to turn this into something clear for others to understand.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, adapting to the audience.
  • Protect zooplus by ensuring appropriate governance and controls are in place.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in FP&A, commercial finance in Retail, or FMCG role
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and nice to have SQL, Tableau or Power BI skills
  • Experienced in financial modeling & analysis, data visualization, and executive communication.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience in encouraging collaboration and leading processes across cross-functional teams.
  • Takes initiative, and ownership, and drives things to a conclusion.
  • Top tier Bachelor's degree, Master's / MBA degree valued.
  • Experience with budgeting/forecast development, establishing KPIs to define success, and profitability and unit economics analyses is ideal.
  • Fluency in English is a must.
