Based in our Munich headquarters, we are looking for an exceptional candidate to support our fast-growing business as a (Senior) Operations Project Manager within the Operations Strategy and PMO team (Project Management Office) covering primarily the execution of key projects in the transformation of the department based on a new Target Operating Model and our Strategic Network Plan.
You will report to the Head of Operations Strategy & PMO.

Tasks:
- Help with the execution of the transformation agenda of the COO by taking ownership of projects such as:
- Setting up the Operations Area’s PMO (incl. processes, tools, governance, setting standards)
- Implement the COO’s new Target Operating Model (incl. target design, roles and responsibilities)
- Help to implement the Network Transformation Program (incl. network design, End-to-End process improvement)
- Take ownership of the lifecycle of projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring they align with the strategic vision and operational goals of the Operations Area
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, adapting project plans and strategies as needed
- Support in financial analyses to evaluate the impact of project activities. You should simultaneously be willing “lean in” towards creating and supporting new business cases when needed
- Ensure all projects adhere to high-quality standards throughout their development, implementing and maintaining best practices in project management
- Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them
- Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
- Communicating with the COO or the ExCo (C-level) to keep the project aligned with their goals through clearly designed documents
- Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs for the project change
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience within strategic project management/consulting. Having covered this within a operations function is an advantage but not essential
- Top tier Bachelor’s degree, Master’s / MBA degree valued
- Self-starter who can take on significant responsibility and drive problem-solving and process change independently
- Demonstrated capacity to direct, produce, and communicate business and financial analyses at an executive level
- Proven success in stakeholder management, for instance, the ability to influence without authority, the ability to serve as a trusted advisor, and proven success in gaining a seat at the table
- Strong process management and organization skills
- Strong understanding of PMO tasks, business case creation, process design and governance setups to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Experience with budgeting / forecast development, establishing KPIs to define success, and profitability and unit economics analyses is ideal
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, business case creation, and data analytics
