Job Description

In order to reflect our growth and the business transactions arising with it in our IFRS consolidated financial statements, we are looking for your support as Group Accounting Specialist (all genders).

Your responsibilities

  • Consolidation of reporting packages of zooplus group under IFRS on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis
  • Preparation of the IFRS Notes to the financial statements and support for the management report
  • Forecast-Consolidation for the Group’s management system
  • First point of contact for financial questions for various stakeholders (Senior management, subsidiaries, auditors, etc.)
  • Support in special projects (e.g. deconsolidation, M&A, policies, etc.)
  • Implementation of a consolidation software

Qualifications

  • Profound experience in preparing or auditing of consolidated financial statements under IFRS preferably for an internationally operating group
  • Excellent knowledge of the consolidation standards under IFRS in theory and practice
  • Practical experience either in the accounting of Leases (IFRS 16) or the capitalization of self-developed intangible assets
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel; Experience in SAP-FI is a plus
  • Fluent English in spoken and written form; German is a nice to have
