Job Description

The Digital Designer creates customized solutions for our clients showcasing best in class digital content in attractive and intuitive designs. He/she is responsible for creating wireframes, mockups, and graphics based on ad hoc customer requests that respond to their particular needs and content.

The Digital Designer is responsible for the development of and creation of high-quality digital assets including but not limited to: emails, microsites, landing pages, animated/white-board videos, and graphics.

In addition to marketing campaigns, the designer will work to improve Zift’s platform service applications as required, demonstrating a technical knowledge of web application and user experience design.

The Digital Designer will be expected to: 

  • Intake customer content and assets and create mockups and wireframes that can be translated into the Zift platform
  • Develop storyboards and corresponding whiteboard animations
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and new technology changes that can affect our design recommendations
  • Provide advice on marketing best practices for project activities
  • Oversee and push design thinking and value-centric UX design
  • Capability to design workflows and wireframes to determine functionality before visual design

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have: 

  • 4+ years' experience designing web sites and applications across multiple platforms, including desktop, tablet, and mobile following user-centered design principles.
  • An understanding of brand application across different formats.
  • An ability to analyse and organize content into user friendly interfaces or documentation.
  • An Intermediate skills/knowledge in user interface development (HTML/CSS).
  • Understanding of graphic design, typography, and layout principles especially as related to digital marketing materials
  • Understanding of best practices in email marketing
  • Proficiency with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
  • An Intermediate skills/knowledge in user interface development (HTML/CSS).
