The person who will lead the Treasury role and handle all bank relationships globally under a CFO for an e-commerce platform may include the following.

  responsibilities:

• Managing the company's global cash flow, ensuring that there are sufficient funds available to meet operational and strategic needs across all regions.
• Overseeing the company's global financing activities, including negotiating with banks and other financial institutions to secure lines of credit, loans, or other forms of financing.
• Monitoring and managing financial risks, including currency risk, interest rate risk, and credit risk.
• Managing the company's foreign exchange transactions, including hedging activities to minimize currency risk.
• Managing the company's global investments, ensuring that they are in line with the company's overall financial strategy.
• Building and maintaining relationships with banks and other financial institutions globally to support the company's financing and cash management needs.
• Negotiating with banks and other financial institutions globally to secure favorable terms for the company's financing and banking needs.
• Managing the company's merchant wallet and ensuring that it has sufficient funds to meet the needs of the merchants on the platform, and to ensure that payments to and from the merchants are processed smoothly.

Requirements:

• A degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• Strong IT skills, including experience with financial and accounting software, and ability to work with databases and data analysis tools.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CTP, CFA, or similar would be an advantage.
• Relevant experience in e-commerce, digital payments and financial technology (fintech) would be a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English and Arabic
