Where are we coming from and where are we going?

Zid has had a tremendous grow over the last 5 years. From 5 people to 300+ people at present and counting. Our revenues have been increasing more than 3 times year on year and we have had a great success. We know that huge growth brings a few complications and challenges to our technology and we, in engineering, are aware of them and we are looking to solve those. We are an e-commerce SaSS platform, a fintech startup, a logistics and shipping consolidator and we understand and believe that technology and business go hand-in-hand.

 

About ZidShip :

ZidShip  is a shipping aggregator, offering shipping solutions for online stores on Zid platform, where we offer the service of 20 couriers through 7 service levels to be activated with only one click. To know more about it please visit ZidShip 

Role Responsibilities: 

• The development of the overall business and new projects:  

• Ownership over projects  

• Research and development 

• Stakeholders' alignment, developing and tracking the development roadmap 

• Creating new projects to grow the business or fixing an existing issue 

• Supervising the success metrics of other functions: sales - operations - finance - product - technical development 

• Developing a reporting mechanism to track and develop success metrics of the major contributing functions 

• Tracking the performance of the major contributing functions 

• Managing the business partnerships 

• Research and develop new partnerships  

• Facilitate the partners’ needed documentation / technical requirements  

• Develop and track the partners’ performance with the concerned functions within ZidShip 

• Develop and track performance reporting mechanism and communication with the partner and the concerned functions within ZidShip. 

Role requirement:  

• BSc/Studying business administration, marketing, finance. 

• Communication and negotiation skills. 

• Ability to run business analysis and reporting.

• Proficiency in English and Arabic language.

• Has problem solving and resolving conflict skills.

• Project management skills with multiple stakeholders.

• Documentation and multi-tasking skills.

• Listening and analyzing information skills.

• Time management and planning skills.

• Logistics experience is a plus.

• Experience in customer support is a plus.
