Company Description

Who we are?

Become a Zider Tech member and join this amazing company that is on top of the e-commerce game! Join a company that is not only growing but having fun while doing it. We are a human centric organization with huge growth plans and with a purpose to help more and more people with little or no digital experience to start their online business (e-commerce), move their offline to online or grow their offline businesses even more by having an online presence.

Where are we coming from and where are we going?

Zid has had a tremendous grow over the last 5 years. From 5 people to 300+ people at present and counting. Our revenues have been increasing more than 3 times year on year and we have had a great success. We know that huge growth brings a few complications and challenges to our technology and we, in engineering, are aware of them and we are looking to solve those. We are an e-commerce SaSS platform, a fintech startup, a logistics and shipping consolidator and we understand and believe that technology and business go hand-in-hand.

Job Description

What do we expect from you?

The person to join Zid has to have energy and willingness to do the extra mile. We are a growing business and this require the capacity to concentrate, have attention to details and be able to work with different types of projects and initiatives. The person that will join us should have a passion for doing things right and a good technical background moving to doing business analysis or system business analysis. We are not looking for an systems architect (however if you have been better!) but for a person that has passion for deciphering and writing requirements in a way that makes it easier and smother to develop the final solution by the engineers in the team.

We expect you to have knowledge on the programming or a past programmer so that you can understand better how the requirements should be presented to ensure that the delivery is accelerated and that there are no doubts in terms on how the software should behave once completed.

Finally, you would be expected to have fun. Yes Fun! Because even though we work hard and smart, we also have fun to ensure that we decompress from the day to day. We do all sorts of activities on a weekly basis and would be amazing to have you participating on these.

How does your first month look like?

Your first day will be kicking with some global understanding of what Zid is all about, what is the team, and how do we work! Get ready for seeing a lot of videos as we are quite fashion and we have done the onboarding as videos to make the reading less. Also, you should expect to meet a lot of people and start working on your first project. This project will not be a huge one but rather a small one but important enough for you to start getting the ball rolling.

You will be ready to familiarize with the technology environment, the tools use for documentation management, backlogs, delivery, etc.

Your first month you will be expected to have already delivered at least 3 simple tasks and be in full mode, fully onboarded, and understanding your role in full and what is your contribution, ways of working and you should know who your main stakeholders are. This is key to ensure you “kill it” in the next coming months!

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Acts as relationship manager in the process of seeking out, identifying, and resolving business needs and/or business problems through process and/or technical recommendations and/or technical solutions across practice groups, units as assigned.
  • Understands and negotiates feature needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders.
  • Analyses and translates business requirements to identify impacts, trends and gaps.
  • Elicits and clearly documents business and systems requirements.
  • Supports product and other teams within the organization providing and sharing expert knowledge of designated areas.
  • Identifies, creates, and facilitates business process design changes.
  • Evaluate how new requirements fit into an existing product and ensure consistency throughout the product
  • Collaborates with others; articulating product and feature needs to Product Managers and others continuously driving the improvement of the product.
  • Capture requirements from key business contacts and ensure documented requirements satisfy business needs (aligning use cases and stories/features to business processes) while addressing all downstream impacts.
  • Form and maintain business requirements and functional specification documentation.
  • Translate requirements into test conditions and expected results for product, performance and user acceptance testing with the support QA.
  • Demonstrate analytical and organizational skills by analyzing and documenting complex information structures involving multiple layers of data and workflows.

How will you do it?

You will be working side by side with the current Engineering Team Leads and Product Manager to ensure that you have the right guidance to your day-to-day tasks. The CTO will be also working side by side with you and will contribute to your success. However, you will be reporting to the Program Management Lead.

You should focus on delivering the best of you and provide as much capacity to fast learning as possible while delivering tasks from day 1. You should know to drive under a bit of pressure and not get overwhelmed easily.

When will you work?

We are a full flexible and full remote. It means that you decide when, however, it is important that you have your calendar updated. Remember full flexible does not mean that you never talk to people. Your work will require to work with people and be aligned with them! However, most of the people you will interact are in Riyadh so it would be great to have a foot in the office.

Ohh and yes, you will have 21 days of Holidays to enjoy and other benefits too!
