Job Description

The Director of Real Estate will be responsible for leading and managing our real estate and property management services, including achieving strong external and internal client relationships and building a profitable, high-performing team.  The Director will promote effective asset management across a portfolio of multi-family properties, ensuring team members are proactive, engaged, and manage clients responsibly and proficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing B2B client relationships with 3rd party building owners and property management firms
  • Identify and develop new client relationships, building new business and growing market share
  • Build and manage a robust deal flow pipeline to support overall business growth priorities
  • Conduct market analysis and create pro forma to prioritize deal flow pipeline 
  • Support regular performance reporting to 3rd party stakeholders and address questions and concerns from existing clients
  • Lead negotiations with existing and new clients to ensure optimal business performance and legal incentives
  • Develop and improve Real Estate Management procedures, business initiatives, communications, and employee morale
  • Assist in the setting of performance targets, revenue and profit budgets, cost control targets, and related performance indicators.  Monitor performance against set targets
  • Positively drive and support the implementation of the business’ and the division’s strategic plans and B2B marketing strategies
  • Build and manage a team of Account Managers to support growing deal flow pipeline and client management needs

Qualifications

What You Offer

  • 5+ years professional experience within the real estate and/or property management industries
  • Strong working knowledge of building services and real estate market activities, trends, and developments
  • Strong relationship-building and management skills, internally and externally
  • Highly effective communication, attention to detail, and organization skills
  • Highly developed problem solving and analytical skillset
  • Highly proficient with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Highly proficient with analytical and BI tools
  • Proficient in SQL and familiar with statistical methods (preferred)
