Company Description

1001menus is looking for a CFO to join the Executive team of the company and work directly with the CEO. This role will oversee and be responsible for financial goals, objectives, and budgets, as well as meeting with the Board and other company Execs to develop financial goals and budgets. The CFO will provide hands-on accounting and finance operational support for 1001menus internationally, including financial reporting, SaaS metrics, consolidation, and tax, as well as overseeing the timely and accurate completion of monthly and quarterly financial closings, and ensuring consistent application of company accounting policies and building/maintaining strong internal controls.

Job Description

  • Lead the company's finance organization, develop and implement financial and operational plans to drive growth, and extend finance based decision-making throughout the company. The CFO will be responsible for all finance activities including accounting, forecasting, budgeting, internal controls, financial systems, audit, reporting, treasury, insurance, and tax. The position is also responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with the board of directors, external auditors, analysts, and all other external parties that require financial information
  • Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with the CEO; administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes to keep senior leadership team abreast of the organization’s financial status
  • Focus on revenue recognition due to complex contracts and SaaS business model
  • Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting
  • Member of Senior Management Team responsible for influencing company direction, growth, strategic planning, product development and financial forecasting
  • Management and enhancement of a robust financial management / reporting system; ensure that the contract billing and collection schedule is adhered to and that financial data and cash flow are steady and support operational requirements
  • Experience with Salesforce, Zuora, Gocardless, Sage is a plus
  • Development and management of internal financial controls

Qualifications

  • Bachelors and Masters degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field
  • 5 – 10 years relevant career path with increasing responsibilities; must include prior subscription/SaaS/revenue recognition experience
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to multi-task and to wear many hats in a fast-paced environment
