Job Description

Our Supply team are the team that fuels our customers, literally! Supply at Z Energy looks after the whole fuel supply chain and maintenance of all assets to ensure we have what we need, where we need it.

We are looking for a Kaituki Raupine Kora, Horoi Waka Fuels and Carwash Maintenance Lead to join our Assets team and support the delivery of our fuels and carwash maintenance programs.

This role works right across Z owned and non-Z owned assets in the Z Retail, Homebase, Aviation and Truckstop network. Our portfolio is large and diverse and will see you guide and grow the maintenance function with a focus on strategic outcomes and commercial success.

You will have the opportunity to

  • Own and deliver all safety, customer and commercial outcomes for fuels and carwash maintenance
  • Deliver cost effect maintenance in line with our budgets
  • Fully optimise both proactive/planned and reactive maintenance efficiently across the fuel contracts
  • Contribute to continuously evolving the long-term Asset Management Plan
  •  Manage record keeping including asset performance and related data as well as monitoring expenditures over the asset lifecycle
  • Oversee the scheduling of all maintenance activities by suppliers
  • Provide input to areas of project design and construction that impact maintenance
  • Manage operational contract supplier management relationships and governance to enable innovation, best practice, and performance against contract, KPIs and SLAs

Qualifications

What you’ll bring to Z

  • Experience delivering maintenance of assets within a commercial environment
  • Exposure to the fuel environment would be advantageous
  • Sound experience managing third-party vendors to achieve great results within agreed parameters and budgets
  • A great eye for process, and the ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • A natural organiser with the experience to juggle multiple priorities and tasks always keeping on top of deadlines
  • A real drive to deliver results, drive change and make a positive contribution within a team

The base salary range for this role is $129,200 to $152,000 per annum, plus 15% STI based on company performance, a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution and health insurance through Southern Cross.
