Job Description

The Senior Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the support, improvements and maintenance of finance, information technology, and operational applications.  Be the liaison between various corporate departments and IT.  This position additionally provides assistance in the evaluation of processes, projects, and initiatives in support of the company’s strategic goals and objectives. Role is a great blend of non-routine and routine.

Essential Functions:

  • Integrates with operational and other support departments as well as third party customers and vendors (i.e. 3rd party technology providers, auditors, bankers, etc.)
  • Analyzes and evaluates current departments’ operational processes and procedures
  • Monitors, automates and improves current business processes to facilitate the best use of business applications and technology in alignment with enterprise  growth and needs
  • Integrates with operational and other support departments as well as third party customers and vendors (i.e. 3rd party technology providers, auditors, bankers, etc.) to achieve departmental goals and objectives
  • Evaluate requests for application upgrades to identify and reduce the impact to the business and integrated systems
  • Maintains and improves technologies in order to achieve efficiencies and increase productivity
  • Basic business applications knowledge (including Financials, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Inventory, and Integration Logic)

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Basic accounting knowledge, with an understanding of invoices, statements of account receivables, payables, and various forms of payment remittances
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products – Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Good judgment skills using common sense and other learned principles
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
  • Minimum of three years of experience required, five or more years of experience preferred
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Experience 
  • SAP Experience is preferred
  • Outgoing personality

 

 

Additional Information

Compensation:  $72,000 - $92,000 and great benefits package
