Controller – Growing, Multi Location Medical Practice

Progressive, highly respected, large medical company is looking to add to their leadership team in the San Antonio office.  This Company has incredible people, state of the art facilities in multiple locations in San Antonio as well as other locations. Come be a part of this phenomenal mission.

This professional will have a leadership role in developing a solid accounting team, improving processes and reporting, and other fun projects. It is refreshing to have a role that is a great blend of routine and non-routine.

·        Manage daily operations of the Accounting Department, including all staff.

·       Oversee and contribute to month-end responsibilities including producing financial statements at a detailed and consolidated level, with accompanying notes and details of fluctuations and trends.  

·       Lead special projects and ad hoc analysis

·       Reconcile and manage all intercompany accounts.

·       Analyze and monitor certain key performance indicators and financial statement ratios.

·       Assure financial records are maintained according to GAAP and provide detailed explanations of financial statement accounts as needed.

·       Maintain monthly cash projection on a daily basis, providing details of fluctuations to management.

·       Manage the Accounts Payable process including review and approval of all outgoing payments.

·       Review staff and physician payroll and other retirement plan/other benefit contributions.

·       Manage annual review by external auditors and assist with the annual audit of company benefit plans.

Qualifications:        

·       Bachelors Degree, Accounting

·       7 plus years in accounting; experience as a controller

·       Excellent communication and management skills

·       Ability and desire to improve processes and increase efficiencies

·       Great Plains experience preferred or other ERP

·       Intermediate excel experience

·       Access – working knowledge a plus

·       Outgoing personality

Compensation: $85,000 - 98,000 +  bonuses
