You’ll hit the ground running in this position and we expect you to:

• Design intuitive and visually appealing features for fintech mobile apps that are both useful and delightful
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and business analysts
• Translate business requirements and user needs into effective design solutions
• Create and improve existing design solutions, considering user experience and financial industry standards
• Organize layouts in design tools, considering versioning, states, element libraries, and styles
• Conduct user-research
• Test products, prototypes, and mockups with users to gather feedback and improve designs
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in fintech and mobile app design
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the design system
• Utilize AI tools effectively in day-to-day design processes

Education 

• Completed bachelor's degree in design, user experience or equivalent

Professional experience 

• 5-7 years of experience in product design, specifically in mobile apps
• Past experience working in a Product Trio configuration. Product manager, designer and developer is a plus

Skills 

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and design challenges
• Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design process
• Excellent UI design skills with a thorough understanding of typography, colors and intuitive design
• Strong understanding of financial industry concepts, regulations and user needs
• Proficiency in modern design tools, including advanced features such as variables and auto-layouts
• Ability to create mockups and high-fidelity prototypes
• Experience in conducting user research and translating insights into actionable design decisions
• Knowledge of design systems and ability to contribute to their development
• Understanding of mobile app development processes and constraints
• Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance design workflows and productivity
• Fluent in English or French; additional language skills are a plus
