Job Description

We’re looking for Territory Sales Rep to join our team. This individual will be the tip-of-the-spear of our B2B Sales team, spending the majority of their time prospecting and converting new leads. This role has a competitive base + variable with an on-target-earning (OTE) potential without a ceiling. This individual must be skilled in research, in creative prospecting, in  presenting the YouScience story with strong communication and negotiation skills, and have a strong ability to overcome objections.Their selling capabilities will be demonstrated through effective pitches and engaging virtual product demos. This individual must be a team player, working collaboratively with sales teammates, customer success, product, and marketing teams to constantly strengthen our value proposition and craft a better experience for our customers. This is a full time in-office position at our American Fork, UT, headquarters.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow established sales processes and procedures
  • Build a pipeline by sourcing new opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Maintain appropriate data hygiene and records within the company’s CRM system
  • Provide leads with quotes, proposals, and presentations quickly and with solid business acumen
  • Utilize resources including sales leads, marketing collateral, and supplemental sales training
  • Effectively demonstrate the value of YouScience to hit revenue targets quarter over quarter
  • Able to respond to sales leads, qualify them, and convert them to deals won
  • Identify and assess lead’s needs to curate YouScience value proposition to their situation
  • Close deals to achieve quarterly OKRs
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand database of prospects within assigned territory using CRM
  • Perform effective online demos to prospects
  • Account management and lead follow up
  • Collaborative attitude to work with Sales and other teams
  • Support YouScience culture and mission with a growth mindset, curiosity, learning, and constant improvement
  • Provide internal recommendations (product, marketing, sales, etc) based on customer & lead feedback
  • Ability to manage a territory / region and hit target goals
  • Work with sales leadership to strengthen the team’s prospecting and sales approach

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5+ years sales experience
  • Adaptable with a growth mindset
  • Able to manage multiple leads and clients at different stages in the sales pipeline
  • Goal oriented and data driven in order to achieve individual, team, and department sales goals

  • Strong presentation and communication skills, keeping it relevant and reflecting product updates
  • Tech savvy and proficient with multiple software systems, databases, and other tools
  • Experience building and managing new accounts

Extra Credit

  • Bachelors degree in sales, business, or related field
  • 1+ years SAAS or B2B sales experience
  • Inside sales and prospecting experience
  • Understanding of hiring and employee recruitment
  • Experience in Workforce Development or Education Advisory Boards
  • Experience working with Chambers of Commerce, Employer Recruiting or Industry Associations
  • Proven record of being a top performer on your team
