As a paralegal at YMF, you are here to provides support to attorneys in the preparation and filing of petitions and applications with federal government agencies and Immigration Court.  Subject to the supervision of the attorney(s) responsible for the matter, Paralegals may assist in such tasks as: preparing routine correspondence, notice of proposed evidence, researching immigration law and procedures, motion, memo and case management. Job Description:

· Collect information and documentation from clients;

· Prepare draft filings to relevant federal, state agencies and Immigration Court;

· Conduct research of immigration law and procedures;

· Interpretation for the attorneys and the Asylum Office

• have at least 3 years of experience in handling family-based immigration visa petition, adjustment of status, consular visa processing, and naturalization

• have at least 3 years of experience in preparing Waiver Applications and writing Affidavits• be detail-oriented, have good verbal and written communication skills and be punctual

• be able to translate documents from Spanish to English.
