A well-established firm is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join their team. Job Description

The ideal candidate is someone who has prior desktop experience working with management level people, presents well and has excellent interpersonal skills. You should be a motivated individual that is self-directed, energetic and driven to meet the needs of the end user. You will also be mentoring a small team (1-3) of Level 1 Jr. Desktop Support Technicians and should enjoy working with and leading a team. 

Our client is also seeking someone who is highly organized and understands the steps and tasks associated with a small project. If you have worked on projects or overseen small projects that is a huge plus, but formal project management experience is not necessary.

This position is a great opportunity for anyone that wants to expand their knowledge of networking and server administration. Prior experience working with servers and networks is desirable but not required. If you are someone that enjoys solving IT problems and streamlining IT infrastructure, then you will thrive in this role. 

Qualifications

TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENTS:

  • Competency in supporting, diagnosing, troubleshooting computer systems, software and networking issues on PCs and related equipment
  • Windows Desktop Operating Systems
  • Enterprise Antivirus Software 
  • Active Directory 
  • MS Exchange
  • Printer Administration
  • Windows Servers (a plus but not required)
  • Networking (a plus but not required)
