Kids can attend a variety of classes such as art, dance, flameless cooking, GK, logical reasoning, and many more. YC is by far the largest kids extracurricular & co-curricular platform in India with more than 200K kids attending classes on YC every month. We are looking for a seasoned Quality Engineer to help us keep a check on the quality of our product. As a QA Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include working with the team to improve the quality of the product, inspecting processes and products, developing quality control systems, and building entirely new experiences that our community will love.

Tech Stack at Yellow Class:
NodeJS, ReactJS, MongoDB, Redis, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Microservices, RabbitMQ, K8, AWS

Your work will require you to:

● Work with the Product, QA, and development teams to create/define test planning and strategize various tests to deliver high-quality products.
● Responsible for end to end deliverables, and passionate about learning new technologies
● Strong knowledge of Manual Testing with Website, Mobile Site, and Mobile applications.
● Employ Agile methodologies, and are fluent in tools like Jira
● Detailed testing feedback preparation to help the team to improve.
● Experience with testing Web APIs and services.
● Should possess strong ownership of the product & play the role of a good mentor.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Expected skill sets:

● 2-4 years of experience at cutting-edge organizations or startups.
● Well-versed with Testing/QA concepts with good knowledge of Manual Testing.
● Knowledge in any Database (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc) is a plus
● Automation knowledge is a plus.
● Excellent written and verbal communication
